In less than the span of nine years, Jared Leis, vice president and business banking officer with Citizens State Bank in La Crosse, recently completed his 10th SBA 504 loan with WBD and is recognized with WBD Elite Lender Status.
Jared banked his first 504 small business project in 2016. As his career at Citizens State Bank developed, so did his expertise and
drive to assist his small business clients in strengthening the local economy of their community. During the pandemic emergent year of 2022, Jared was prolific in logging six SBA 504 loans for his small business clients during that one calendar year.
The 10 SBA 504 projects on which Jared teamed up with WBD secured more than $4.5 million in long-term, fixed-rate financing, impacting more than $11 million in investment that led to the creation of 55 jobs through these business expansions.
WBD loan officer Mike Dieckman has thoroughly enjoyed working with Jared on all 10 of his 504 loan deals and has witnessed Jared’s extra effort to move each project across the finish line.
“Jared has firmly embraced the 504 program, always looking for ways to help his customers get over the hump to achieve their goals,” Dieckman said. “Many times, I’ve witnessed Jared go above and beyond when it comes to helping a borrower with our application.”
