WBD congratulates Jim Crowley, vice president – business banking with WaterStone Bank in Waukesha, for recently completing his 10th and 11th SBA 504 loans with the organization. For his efforts, Crowley is recognized as WBD’s 74th Elite Lender.
Jim banked his first 504 small business project for an industrial equipment and tool supplier in southeast Wisconsin back in 2010. Since that time, a total of eight of Crowley’s 504 loan projects have been with another industrial products manufacturer, which has grown substantially during the past 15 years with more than $30 million in expansion projects among those eight loans. These two most recent loans for that same customer were for a $17.5 million expansion project which will create 20 jobs.
In total, Jim’s 11 SBA 504 loans on which he collaborated with WBD have secured more than $11 million in long-term, fixed-rate financing, supporting nearly $33 million in total investment that led to the creation of 87 jobs through these business expansions.
WBD loan officer Nick Drewsen has thoroughly enjoyed working with Jim on eight of his 11 loan deals and notes that Jim takes the time to fully understand each opportunity and works closely with his clients to position them for long-term success.
“Jim’s dedication is evident in one mutual client that has grown from a startup to a company generating more than $20 million in annual revenue in less than 10 years,” Drewsen said.
Beyond his work in banking, Jim is deeply committed to developing young athletes and giving back to his community. He serves as an assistant varsity football coach at New Berlin Eisenhower High School and plays an active role in managing the Catholic Youth Football Club.
“His passion for mentorship, teamwork, and leadership extends well beyond the office and makes a positive impact on the next generation,” said Drewsen.
