WBD is pleased to share its recently released fiscal year 2025 Annual Report. Inside, CEO Dan Schneider discussed the “many hats we wear” as advisors, as financiers, as champions of local economic development, and as community volunteers. The efforts of WBD staff through each hat we wear help drive our mission of growing businesses, creating jobs, and building communities.
Highlights and accomplishments in FY25:
- 5 new Elite Lenders and one new Hall of Fame lender
- 184 504 Loan Approvals for a total of $190,993,000, which leveraged nearly $530MM in total project cost
- Helped create and retain 2,160 jobs, pushing our total job figure to nearly 80,000 since 1981!
- Increased portfolio total to $1.086 Billion, a 6.6% gain from the previous year
- More than $550,000 in economic development investments. Since 2020, WBD has contributed more than $2.5 million in grants to economic development organizations aligned with our mission
