We’re proud to recognize Matt Wilcox as the newest inductee into our Hall of Fame Lender Team, celebrating his remarkable achievement of 20 SBA 504 projects. This milestone reflects not only Matt’s deep commitment to small business growth, but also his enduring partnership with WBD.
Matt’s journey with us began in 2004, when he worked on his very first SBA 504 loan. He partnered with us on several more 504 projects before being hired as a loan officer for WBD. He was a valued member of the WBD team—bringing insight, integrity, and a collaborative spirit that left a lasting impression. As a commercial banker, his dedication to economic development has helped generate nearly $40 million in total project costs—fueling local investment, expansion, and innovation. Even more importantly, his work has contributed to the creation and retention of over 200 jobs, strengthening the communities we serve.
His dedication, consistency, and impact make this recognition especially meaningful. We’re grateful for the role he’s played in strengthening communities through smart, strategic lending—and we’re honored to celebrate this milestone with him.
