Kyle Kuntz

Kyle Kuntz is Senior Vice President – Senior Lender at WBD and has been with the organization since 2010. Kyle leads WBD’s team of loan officers and oversees the organization’s sales and marketing strategy across Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

At WBD, Kyle and his team focus on building strong relationships with partner financial institutions and helping lenders structure and execute SBA 504 and 7(a) opportunities efficiently. WBD’s goal is to be a trusted resource—supporting lenders in deploying capital, navigating SBA programs, and helping businesses grow, create jobs, and strengthen communities.

1. Relationships Are the Best Part

The most rewarding part of my role is the relationships I’ve built—with both our internal team and the financial institutions we partner with.

2. I Love Deal Structuring

Every deal is different. Finding the right structure to make a project work is what makes commercial lending fun.

3. Always Up for an Adventure

I enjoy traveling with family and friends – Some of my favorite experiences to date include catching a sailfish in Costa Rica, halibut fishing in Alaska, jet skiing near glaciers (in a drysuit!) in Alaska, and spending quality family time on the beaches of Florida with my wife and kids.

4. Golf… With Realistic Expectations

I really enjoy golf, but I’ll take a two-man scramble over grinding on my swing any day.

5. Biggest Fan on the Sidelines

Outside of work, you’ll find me cheering on my kids at their sporting events.
