Other WBD Economic Activities

 

 

As a non-profit organization, WBD’s mission to create jobs, grow businesses and build communities extends beyond what we can do to help businesses with the SBA 504 program. WBD is committed to utilizing any available resources to support other economic development activity throughout our service area.

 

In addition to other WBD Loan Funds, we invest in organizations and programs that align with our mission. From local and minority chambers of commerce to economic development groups and others who stay focused on job creation, WBD proudly supports these efforts with both technical assistance and financial resources.

A partnership with higher educational institutions to provide free advice and technical assistance to small businesses.

 

AACCW (African American Chamber of Commerce)

Help for African American business owners and those wishing to do business with minority owned businesses.

Help for Hispanic business owners and those wishing to do business with minority owned businesses.

 

Hmong Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce

Help for Hmong business owners and those wishing to do business with minority owned businesses.

 

AICCO (American Indian Chamber of Commerce of Wisconsin)

Help for Native American business owners and those wishing to do business with minority owned businesses.

 

SBA (US Small Business Association)

Offers a variety of small business lending programs and training options.

 

WWBIC

Specializing in start-up and businesses that benefit from high levels of technical assistance. Both assistance and financing are available here.

 

WEDC (Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation)

The State of Wisconsin's lead economic development organization.

 

WEDA (Wisconsin Economic Development Association)
