504 Benefits for Lenders
Wisconsin Business Development provides credit enhancement products and services to allow lenders to serve worthy customers, preserve liquidity, and reduce risk. Many small businesses are able to show the ability to manage growth. Some, however, may not have the historical cash flow or collateral coverage necessary for conventional financing. The credit enhancement programs provided by WBD are designed to fill these gaps or provide additional support for lender approval.
Other features of these programs include subordinate lending, which preserves lender liquidity while still meeting the customer's needs. Subordinate financing and loan guarantees enhance the lender's risk profile as well. Additional loan benefits include:
- Lower loan-to-values (typically 50%)
- Lower reserve requirements because of the government guaranty
- Reduced exposure and credit risk
- Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) credits
- WBD does the SBA paperwork for you!
WBD has also been approved by the SBA under its Accredited Lender Program (ALP), in which lenders are provided designated authority for expedited processing, closing, and servicing the loan.
